Britto Charette Visits Milan Showroom and Museum to Discover New Furniture

At Britto Charette, our designers are constantly on the hunt for exemplary, forward-thinking artists and makers. So, when RIVA 1920 extended an invitation during Salone del Mobile, Jay Britto happily accepted.

RIVA 1920 is an Italian furniture company that, for just over a century, has been crafting modern designs from one of nature’s most beautiful and sustainable gifts: wood. Jay, along with about 30 other interior designers, toured the company factories and RIVA Center (consisting of a showroom, museum, production area, and more). “The showroom and factories were really impressive. And I’m especially happy to see the value Riva 1920 places on sustainability,” Jay said.

RIVA 1920 prides itself on crafting furniture that’s entirely made in Italy. “We design, tailor, and create products that enhance spaces, connect people, and don’t harm the environment.
