Britto Charette is proud to share our completed award-winning penthouse project at the Ritz-Carlton Residences.  Winner of the Built Design Award, the 6k+ sqft penthouse boasts nearly 8k sqft of outdoor living space and is located in Miami Beach. It’s placement atop an adaptive reuse building affords our clients captivating views.

We have created a design for our clients that is modern and elegant, honoring Piero Lissoni’s architectural vision for the building. Adapting the former hospital space to meet our clients’ needs posed interesting challenges and opportunities for our team, including the chance to include many custom elements.

One of our proud achievements is the custom design of the headboard located in the  primary bedroom suite. Designed by Britto Charette and handcrafted by the artisans at Art Space NYC, it provides a textured and elegant focal point in the room. We dropped the 15’ ceilings to 12’ to hide the mechanicals and provide a homier atmosphere. To bring “Miami modern” to the space, we used exquisite woods and stones and incorporated custom millwork throughout. The neutral color palette frames 360 views of water and sky and is warmed with layers of texture including custom rugs, custom headboards, upholstered furniture, book matched marble, and luxurious accessories.

The residence is brimming with collectible pieces, all carefully curated by our team. And we worked with an incredible roster of trades and vendors to achieve the final design, including but not limited to: ARCA, Stambul, Casa Mayo, AG Wall Covering, ORNARE, Boffi, Twill and Texture, Privileggio Milano, Quality Stone, Deco Glass, James Oughtibridge, Maison Parisienne, Sophie Thompson, Elan Atelier, Holly Hunt, EVM Woodworking, and Premium Digital Control.
