Britto Charette is proud to be designing the interiors of a new-construction home in New York. Our designs for GLENBROOK, a detached single-family home, are taking shape as the site is being demolished
As we work through the plans with our wonderful clients, the builder, and trades, we are excited about the many exciting opportunities this project offers. And the challenges are sparking our creativity, too. Principal and licensed interior designer David Allan Charette says, “Our biggest challenge is to provide maximum privacy for our clients in terms of both the built environment and landscaping. What isn’t a challenge, but is instead a huge opportunity, is that our clients have a very clear and developed program.”
As interior designers, it’s not only our job to create gorgeous interiors for our clients, but to pay close attention to their lifestyles and needs and make sure they are aligned with the designs. For our Glenbrook clients, we’ve taken those factors into account and have created a plan where the ground floor and exterior will be designed to maximize hospitality for family events.
The residential interior design will include a home gym, a study, and two home offices. And the home’s expansive footprint will allow for a rich array of furnishings and accessories, including many custom pieces designed by our own Britto Charette team.
