Our intrepid interior designers travel the globe searching for sophisticated design. David Allan Charette, principal and licensed interior designer here at our Miami-based Britto Charette studio, recently discovered a plethora of design inspiration in Mexico City when he was in town for Zona MACO (one of Latin America’s most significant design fairs) and Mexico City Art Week events. While there, he met some incredible designers, toured beautiful showrooms, and unearthed stunning inspirations for future projects.

WHAT IS ZONA MACO
Zona Maco is considered one of Latin America’s most significant design trade shows. This year marked the 22nd edition of Zona MACO/Mexico Art week and included 200 galleries from 27 countries. The events also featured museums that showcased diverse art explorations. Zona MACO is renowned as a pivotal annual event for interior designers and art enthusiasts and offered David a unique opportunity to immerse himself in the timeless craftsmanship that defines Mexico’s rich cultural landscape.
David’s longstanding admiration for Mexico City is rooted in the metropolis’ ability to consistently provide fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.
