When it comes to Miami, there’s a lot to love. Two of our Miami obsessions? Food and culture. Luckily, you can find an abundance of both right here on our studio’s doorstep in the city’s Design District.
In February, David Allan Charette spent an evening celebrating the 25th anniversary of South Beach Wine & Food Festival by enjoying a little dolce vita at A Taste of Italy.

Held at the Jungle Plaza in Miami’s Design District, the event was hosted by Pasta Rummo, Nadia Caterina Munno (the Pasta Queen), and chef Scott Conant. A Taste of Italy featured a wide-ranging selection of Italian classics and iterations of Italian family favorites from renowned chefs.

“I had a wonderful time at the Taste of Italy event. Celebrating together by sharing food and music is one of the things I love most about our Design District community.”

The food tasting was a chance for the Design District to welcome visitors as well as locals to see chefs at work and to toast the entrepreneurship of the Italian community here in Miami. That celebration of culture is yet another reason why we love our community so much.
