Interior designers David Allan Charette and Jay Britto
Our intrepid designers have recently returned from their whirlwind tour of Milan for the city’s annual Design Week extravaganza. It proved to be another fantastic opportunity for Jay and David Allan to meet with designers, manufacturers, artists, and industry peers. They found some incredible furniture, lighting, and art that they believe may be a good fit with our team’s interior designs.

Milan Design Week’s darling, Fuorisalone, provided the designers with captivating and inspiring installations and exhibitions throughout the city. Some of their favorites? L’Appartamento by Artemest, Alcova’s four venues, and the TAM TAM installation at the Universita degli Studi di Milano.

The design duo also spent a lot of time meeting with designers at the Salone del Mobile exhibition center. They discovered beautiful new products from the likes of Ornare, Lumifer, Flos, Poliform, Nemo, Minotti, B&B Italia, and more.

MDW 2025 was also a great year for visiting showrooms and show houses. At Pendhapa they fell in love with the brand’s collaboration with Indelux. The limited-edition travertine console had them at hello! Jay and David Allan were also swooning over a Pendhapa ceiling light that featured in a Reel we posted to Instagram.
At Meridiani, they discovered gorgeous furniture that has great potential for some of our interior designs.

And they attended an event hosted by Galleria Rossana Orlandi. The gallery’s “Return of the Archive Light” even was presented by Lobmeyr Lighting.

The outdoor space at Chiostro Sant’Angelo was the backdrop for Flexform’s outdoor Collection. David and Jay were thrilled with the furniture and also how it complemented the architecture of the cloister, designed by renowned Milanese architect, Giovanni Muzio.

Of course, Euroluce didn’t disappoint with its shining examples of brilliant lighting innovations from Okolo, Articolo, FLOS, and many more.

THANK YOU
We’d like to thank the many designers, brands, and studios who invited Jay and David Allan to visit and to share meals and design conversations. Special thanks to Minotti-Florida Design, Ornare, Artemest, BOFFI, INDELUX, Pendhapa, Rossana Orlandi, Poltrona Frau, and B&B Italia, to name just a few. We weren’t able to attend every gathering or visit every stand or showroom, but we truly appreciate the hospitality of everyone who hosted us and shared their new collections.
