2026 BRITTO CHARETTE SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCED
Meet Aspiring Architect and Scholarship Winner, Stephanie Miller

Britto Charette is proud to announce that Stephanie Miller has won this year’s Britto Charette Study Volterra Abroad Scholarship. Stephanie is currently studying architecture at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture and Community Development.

Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled at the University of Detroit Mercy SACD who show an aptitude for excellence and innovation in architecture, and who have demonstrated the necessary requirements.
“I created this scholarship because I had the privilege of studying in Volterra and Florence through UofD Mercy and I appreciate all that the experience provided me. I understand how important international travel is—especially for aspiring architects. Our Britto Charette team is proud to be able to assist architecture students in pursuing a study abroad experience that we know will positively impact their work and creativity.”

Stephanie was selected from a stellar group of University of Detroit students and has been praised by faculty, including Assistant Professor Thomas Provost, for her “colorful and considered” work and her ability to analyze and execute designs.
