About this Project
Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Auberge is a new building by architects Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates that is bringing exceptional residential living and amenities to the beachfront. Floor-to-ceiling windows and large terraces afford residents spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Amenities like private elevators, multiple swimming pools, world-class spa and restaurants, and personalized concierge services round out the luxury living experience.
Britto Charette has been asked by a private client to design their primary residence at Auberge. Our team will transform the 3,300 sq ft space to maximize the ocean and Intracoastal views.
Our clients found us on social media and told our designers they love the clean lines and modern yet relaxed spaces we create. So they asked our team to design their unit that includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a media room, and a gorgeous terrace. The clients are fond of white and neutral colors—but not grey—so the designers have fashioned a space that is meant to echo the beach with its soothing colors. Britto Charette has included many luxurious custom furnishings and cabinetry in the design. Auberge is expected to be completed in 2018.
We love a challenge and we found one in Auberge. The walls of the unit are not linear or perfect rectangles so our team needed to compensate for the irregular walls in the design. In the media room, for instance, the clients wanted a deep sofa, but the space was too narrow to allow for standard-size furnishings. The solution? Britto Charette designed a custom coffee table and ottoman.
